Autista na universidade: Inclusão e responsabilidade

Abstract

The article "Autistic at the University: Inclusion and Responsibility", aims at a study on Autism and the way of attending the autistic student at Universities. With the significant increase in autistic students coming to schools, there is an additional concern in their future. The work presents as a method, a brief study on the diagnosis of autism, the cognitive part, the inclusion and insertion of the student and the attendance of that student at the university. In order to work the hypotheses, the need for pedagogical practices and effective individual assistance for the student is investigated. In this perspective of study, it shows the need for students with autism at the university, to be accompanied according to their difficulties, with professionals prepared and qualified for the demand. It focuses on the preparation of some education professionals for the training of autistic students in all aspects, including so that they do not feel excluded from other students. As a result, there is a data survey of an autistic student who studied at a university, taking into account service at the organization, cognitive learning, inclusion and exclusion, as well as qualified professionals. In conclusion, it presents the results of a conversation with this student.
