Abstract:
The Brazilian's prison system complexity, and the lack of public policies, which shake Brazilian
Society, in the face of the social layering making an perverse circle of recidivism and enlistment
in crime, therefore, restructuring changes and modernization of Prison System, to enable decent
conditions and for transmuting behaviors during serving sentence. Public-private partnerships
(PPP), would be a viable and swift solution in human and material resources equalization, in
resocializing prisoners through work, education and financially, through conditions and
engagement within the establishment, providing better conditions when they return to society.
The expenses shared with other sectors, which will make feasible other measures and models of
prison system, quantifying the incarcerating effective cost for the proper application of public
money, and lastly, provide a sense of justice for victims in due measure of human dignity.
