Vantagens da resina bulk fill no atendimento ao paciente com necessidades especiais: relato de caso

Abstract

Patients with special needs must be taken care of differently considering systemic diseases, physical, mental, social, or behavioral disorders. Therefore, in the field of Dentistry which provide the Oral-health and quality of life, special needs patients at most of the cases require filling treatments due to high levels of cavity diseases for reasons likephysical limitations, low salivary flow, among others. Because of these situations it is necessarily swiftly responding as the demand is high, an alternative treatment emerge the composite resin Bulk Fill that provides effective care and optimizes the clinical time due to its lower viscosity which allows light to pass ensuring an adequate polymerization that recognize the incremental technique of 5mm. Thus, this study aims to conduct by a report format of the benefits of resin type Bulk Fill in patients with special needs, conclude the resin type Bulk Fill brings advantages to the Dentist and patient if it is well managed, however, the studies are still insufficient about this material at special needs patients thus further studies and clinical controls are required.
