Restauração em resina composta indireta em dentes com múltiplos diastemas

Abstract

In the dento-facial aesthetic composition the mouth is an important segment, therefore, the anterior teeth assume a fundamental role. The technique of indirect composite resin restorations is an aesthetic, conservative and satisfactory alternative that allows the operator to control and evaluate the process from shade selection to the final morphology of the restoration. The clinical case, refers to a 28-year-old male patient, dissatisfied with the shape and size of his teeth. On clinical examination, he detected narrow, small anterior teeth with inadequate relationship to the maxillary bone extension. A conservative and reversible aesthetic treatment was proposed, the realization of indirect composite resin veneers on teeth 13 to 23. The veneers were made by the layering technique and their polymerization was complemented by immersion in distilled water in a microwave oven for 3 minutes at maximum power. After cementing, finishing and polishing were performed. The indirect technique, associates the advantages of the direct and indirect techniques, being a satisfactory conservative restorative treatment, from the aesthetic and functional point of view
