Cor e sintonia: Sophie Calle no manifesto da arte contemporânea

Abstract

This article aims to investigate artistic influences and results in contemporary art based on freedom of expression and dialogues between the work and its artist. It is based on critical theory and studies done on the artist, Sophie Calle and her interactive development in creative processes, raising questions about the social relations of contemporary art and the pragmatic construction of exhibitions. From the points presented, an analysis of the historical and cultural guideline of the artistic scene and its significance up to the present time is extended. The works of the artist are approached in a passive relation between the tuning and expressive movements in her compositions, as well as the concept of record applied by her. Finally, psychosocial formation in the development of contemporary production and analysis of the work Le régime chromatique by Sophie Calle is discussed, thus focusing on the emotional interactions and presenting the creative experiment of "Endochromatic" in the conclusive appreciation of the research.
